| GREAT FALLS, VA - The owners, both gardeners, wanted an intense perennial garden planted on their blank slate of lawn bounded by the woods. Here, the front entrance curves with a long flagstone walk leading the visitor from the entrance drive to the front porch, experiencing a grove of Serviceberry trees. Large flowing masses of daylilies, lavender, gerimander, coneflower and St. John's Wort were inter-planted in between the trees for a wonderful effect. |
