| ARLINGTON, VA - A small townhouse rear
yard enclosed with a 6' high brick wall which was visually overgrown and
messy. The client requested a small entertainment/meditation garden utilizing
Feng Shui design principles. The goal was to maintain visual and pathway
flow from both sets of sliding glass doors, around the garden and to the
small gate at the rear corner of the garden. A raised stone plant bed
was incorporated to add another layer to this relatively flat area. A
small urn water feature was located as a focal point in the corner of
the yard off of the circular/spiral patio. All the plants are low maintenance
because the clients' busy schedule allows little time for upkeep. |
