ARLINGTON, VA - These natural stone steps and matching dry-stacked wall form the entrance to this sunken garden. This garden was actually an area that was excavated to create a little topography to a very flat garden. An old brick walk inset with stones to make the transition from the brick to stone is seen in the mid-ground. An oval lawn area edged with flagstone is seen in the background.
