| WASHINGTON, DC - DECORATOR SHOWHOUSE-The
centerpiece to this Penthouse Terrace Showhouse is the Japanese style
Tea Pavilion. The base supports for the wood columns are four (4) granite
blocks. The remaining structural beams and decking are constructed of
cedar. Criss-crossing bamboo poles, lashed together by jute rope, complete
the structures top. A hanging light fixture produced by Solis-Betencort
for Holly Hunt provide light for the custom designed mahogany and stone
tea table and floor pillows for evening tea ceremonies. |
